Job Responsibilities
- Administer general, spinal, regional, and thoracic anesthesia.
- Handle complex cases including cardiac, neuro, trauma, and obstetrical.
- Provide anesthesia in various settings, including operating rooms and specialized procedure suites.
- Participate in patient care, evaluating and managing acute volume and blood pressure issues, and performing arterial line placements.
Qualifications
- Graduate (Master's or Doctorate) of an accredited school of anesthesia.
- Current or ability to obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Minnesota.
- Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Current certification in CPR, BCLS/ACLS.
Working Hours
- 8, 10, 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday
- 12 or 16-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday
Skills
- Proficient in administering general anesthesia to adults, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Competent with trauma anesthesia and a variety of surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, and orthopedic.
- Skilled in ventilation management and arterial line placement.
