Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care
- Respond to ED and L&D calls within 10 minutes
- Conduct 4.3 patient encounters per shift on average
- Teach and supervise FM residents and medical students
- Participate in on-call rotations and deliver approximately 370-380 births annually
Qualifications
- Active MI license required
- Board Certification required or eligibility status accepted
- Completion of Conscious Sedation Module (offered free at the facility if sedation privileges are requested)
Working Hours
- Varied shifts with 24-hour call duties
- Expected to respond to emergency conditions promptly
Skills
- Preferred expertise in low and high-risk pregnancies
- Proficient in FHR interpretation and obstetric ultrasounds
- Experienced in routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs
