Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of APPs for patient consultations and care management
  • Participate in tabletop rounds and physically round on complex cases
  • Manage patient consultations and oversee care provided by APPs
  • Coverage for STEMI cases and coordinate with interventional cardiologist
  • Handle night call duties as per rotation schedule

Qualifications

  • Must have an active Michigan medical license and clean background for emergency privileges
  • Board Certification required
  • Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology preferred
  • No additional certification requirements

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (or until tasks are completed)
  • Night call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • Weekend coverage as scheduled

Skills

  • Proficient in managing cardiac consultations and follow-up care
  • Capable of conducting TEE procedures if necessary
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with APPs and hospital teams
  • Effective communication and patient interaction skills
