Join our dynamic team as a Board Certified Urologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment. This opportunity is located in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with a Da Vinci Xi Robot, delivering exceptional care throughout the community. This role features a balanced 2-week on/2-week off schedule, ensuring flexibility and a manageable workload with no on-call duty required. Enjoy a mix of clinic and OR shifts to provide comprehensive urology care.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide a full scope of urological services, including general urology for adults and pediatrics
  • Perform laparoscopic surgeries and ureteroscopy
  • Conduct renal and bladder ultrasounds with biopsies
  • Carry out TRUS biopsies and fertility work-ups
  • Engage in robotic surgery, including nephrectomy and prostatectomy (preferred skills)

Qualifications

  • MI License, CDS, and DEA required
  • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship in Urology
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – Urological Surgery)
  • At least 50 urological procedures performed or recent completion of a residency/fellowship

Working Hours

  • Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Scheduled on a 2-week on/2-week off rotation

Skills

  • Expertise in urological procedures and patient management across all ages
  • Proficient in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Familiarity with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques within the scope of urology
