Job Responsibilities
– Provide call coverage for Emergency Department as needed
– Perform surgical procedures including fractures, sports injuries, and total joint replacements
– Coordinate care with Orthopaedic PAs and full surgical staff
– Use state-of-the-art digital radiology department resources
Qualifications
– Active board certification with the ABOS
– Valid Michigan medical license, CDS, and DEA required
– Experience in hip, knee, and shoulder arthroscopy, joint replacement, and revision
Working Hours
– 24-hour call shifts ranging from 11/27 – 11/30 and 12/19 – 12/23 (ending 12/23 @ 07:00 AM)
– On-call, with visits as requested by the Emergency Department
