Job Responsibilities
– Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC.
– Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists and perioperative staff.
– Provide preoperative assessments and patient education.
– Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
– Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia.
– Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team.
– Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in EMR systems.
– Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
– NBCRNA Board Certification
– Active Michigan RN License
– BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (AHA)
– Clean malpractice/license history
– Not accepting new graduates
