We are seeking a dedicated Neonatology specialist to join our team at a Level III NICU within a premier hospital setting. Providing critical care for neonates, the position covers both day shifts and night/weekend call duties, with timely response requirements within 30 minutes if called in. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a Level I Trauma Center with a focus on high-risk deliveries and specialized neonatal procedures.

Job Responsibilities
- Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections
- Perform ventilation management and neonatal procedures
- Manage emergency situations and participate in neonatal resuscitation
- Potentially supervise Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
- Document patient care using the EPIC EMR system
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Neonatology
- Fellowship in Neonatology
- Active Michigan medical license
- NALS certification
- Self-Query NPDB completion
Working Hours
- Variable shifts: Days (10 hours) and Night shifts (14-hour home call)
- Call Ratio: 1:4, with response time within 30 minutes if called in
Skills
- Proficiency in neonatal care procedures such as chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and various catheterizations
- Strong team collaboration within a multidisciplinary setting
- Effective communication and documentation skills
