Job Responsibilities
– Perform ophthalmic surgeries and procedures, including cataract removal, glaucoma treatments, and intra-ocular injections.
– Conduct follow-up consultations with surgical patients.
– Manage a busy clinic schedule with a minimum of 4 patients per hour and up to 12-14 procedures/surgeries per day.
– Collaborate with two efficient and knowledgeable medical assistants.

Qualifications
– Board Certified in Ophthalmology
– Must hold a BLS certification
– Skilled in required surgical/invasive ophthalmology procedures

Working Hours
– Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
– Two weeks on, two weeks off schedule

Skills
– Proficient in cataract removal techniques such as phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implant
– Experience with intra-ocular injections
– Competent in ultrasound interpretation, photos interpretation, fluorescein angiography, and optical coherence tomography
