Job Responsibilities
- Manage thoracic surgery patients including post-op and ICU transfers
- Perform bedside procedures such as chest tube management and feeding tube placement
- Conduct history and physical exams for transferred patients
- Serve as first responder to patient codes before the arrival of additional support
Qualifications
- NCCPA Board Certification
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- DEA license required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar setting
Working Hours
- 2–3 shifts per week
- 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Coverage required Monday through Sunday

- Proficiency with Epic EMR/Charting Software
- Strong clinical skills in thoracic surgery management
