Job Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to members and providers to support quality initiatives.
- Support programs and clinical best practices aimed at improving health outcomes, preventing hospital readmissions, and reducing medical errors.
- Coordinate daily activities such as claims reject reports review and transition monitoring.
- Draft and send provider communications to ensure medication access for members.
- Liaise with internal departments like appeals and grievances to provide timely and complete service.
- Educate other departments on Pharmacy processes as necessary.
- Resolve escalated inquiries related to prescription drug benefits.
- Support clinical pharmacy staff as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in a professional setting required.
- Prior pharmacy experience is required; customer service and managed care experience preferred.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
