Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents in an inpatient setting.
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage care coordination.
- Utilize clinical skills in disorders such as anxiety, affective, ADD/ADHD, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders.
- Engage in treatment techniques including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT).
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Psychiatry with Child Adolescent Psychiatry Board certification.
- Must hold an active Massachusetts medical license.
- Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and others.
- Proficiency in managing involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application preferred.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Skills
- Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills in managing pediatric psychiatric illnesses.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver holistic patient care.
