Job Responsibilities

• Conduct upper and lower GI endoscopies, including biopsies and polyp excisions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP procedures.
• Carry out necessary procedures such as sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and insertion/management of Sengstaken-Blakemore tubes.
• Engage in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of general gastrointestinal conditions.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Proven expertise in internal medicine – gastroenterology procedures

Working Hours

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Skills

• Proficiency in upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal
• Ability to perform procedures like fulguration of bleeder and injection of varices
• Competence in small bowel biopsy, flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
• Experience with therapeutic endoscopic techniques
