– Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; On Call: 2 nights per week (5 PM – 8 AM); Every other weekend Fri (5 PM)–Mon (8 AM)

Job Responsibilities
– Provide Hematology and Oncology care primarily in an outpatient setting
– Conduct thorough assessments of patients with cancer and blood disorders
– Administer treatment plans that may include chemotherapy, including intrathecal and intracavitary if required
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications
– Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
– Completed Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
– Kentucky State License (highly preferred)
– COVID-19 Vaccination
– BLS and ACLS Certification
– Required to submit a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of the presentation
Working Hours
– Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
– On-call duties: 2 nights per week, 5 PM to 8 AM
– Every other weekend on call from Friday, 5 PM to Monday, 8 AM
Skills
– Proficiency in EPIC EMR
– Skilled in performing detailed patient assessments and creating effective treatment plans
– Ability to manage a patient load efficiently, handling an average of 22 patients per day including 2-3 new consults
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and staff
