Job Responsibilities
- Perform adult cardiac surgeries including CABG, off-pump CABG, and heart valve repair/replacements.
- Preferably handle general thoracic surgeries.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as arterial revascularization and redo coronary revascularization.
- Conduct tracheostomies, thoracotomy lung biopsies, and mediastinal surgeries.
Qualifications
- Board Certified
- BLS Certified
- KY License preferred, but candidates can obtain if necessary
- Clean background required
- Experience with Impella support and structural heart support
Working Hours
- 24-hour shifts, covering from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
Skills
- Expertise in cardiac surgery with a comprehensive understanding of thoracic surgery preferred
- Proficient with EPIC EMR system
- Ability to work collaboratively with ancillary staff and a first assist with endoscopic vein harvesting experience
