Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team as a Surgical traveler. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical procedures and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during operations and surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including conducting pre-operative assessments.
• Monitor patients during and after surgery to ensure proper recovery.
• Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients.
• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct follow-up visits and assessments as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a surgical setting.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and terminology.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant and licensure in the state of practice.

Skills:

• Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records.
• Ability to operate medical equipment relevant to surgical procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
