Job Responsibilities
- Provide cardiac and general anesthesia care
- Participate in the hospital's cardiac surgery program
- Work with CRNA students in the operating room
- Perform and interpret TEE procedures
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Anesthesiology
- Active Iowa license or IMLC
- TEE Certified
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification
- COVID Vaccinated
Working Hours
- Specific coverage dates from July to January, typically week-long blocks
- No on-call or weekend responsibilities
Skills
- Expertise in managing both cardiac and general anesthesia cases
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and oversee students
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, transitioning from Cerner to EPIC
