Job Responsibilities

• Manage emergent obstetric patients, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Provide care for patients without a primary OB/GYN
• Collaborate with the maternity transport team, the only one of its kind in Iowa
• Work closely with MFM on-call and utilize available in-house resources like medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy

Qualifications

• Board Certified or truly board eligible in Obstetrics
• Active IA License or Active IMLC
• Clean malpractice/background record

Working Hours

• 24-hour shifts, 6.5 shifts per month
• On-call requirement: 24/7 in-house, with call rooms provided

Skills

• Proficient in emergency obstetric care
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Ability to work independently with a focus on inpatient care
