– Schedule: Varied shifts, with patient contact hours from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday or 7 days a week. On call every 3rd day, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities
– Round on a 28-bed adult unit and an 8-bed adolescent unit.
– Supervise two Advanced Practice Providers, including reviewing and co-signing orders and documentation.
– Provide consults on the medical units as needed.
– Participate in the teaching of family medicine residents, nursing students, and OT students.
– Engage in medication management, individual and group therapy, recreational therapy, and discharge planning.

Qualifications
– Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
– Licensed in Iowa or eligible for IMLC
– Fellowship Trained in Psychiatry

– On call every 3rd day, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
