Job Responsibilities
- Cover orthopedic traumas and same-day add-ons
- Work exclusively in an inpatient hospital setting
- Collaborate with a team of physicians including specialists in joint, spine, hand, and podiatry
- Utilize nursing and advanced practice provider support in the OR
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active IA and/or IL License or Active IMLC
- Fellowship trained in orthopedics
- Experienced in the field
- Willingness to work at both Davenport and Silvis locations
- Clean malpractice/background, with current NPDB self-query
Working Hours
- 24-hour shifts
- Flexible scheduling for days needed on call
- No clinic duties, inpatient responsibilities only
Skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner
- Strong surgical skills for orthopedic trauma procedures
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills with both patients and healthcare team members
