Job Responsibilities

• Provide consultations and interventional procedures including balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, and heart catheterizations.
• Manage medical treatment for vascular diseases and conduct coronary angiograms and embolic protection procedures.
• Perform and interpret stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms, Holter monitors, event monitors, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and cardioversions.
• Collaborate with an existing team of interventional cardiologists to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Iowa Medical License (highly preferred)
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Ability to handle a busy caseload and manage both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Clinic: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Call Duty: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM; Weekend call from 8:00 AM Friday to 8:00 AM Monday
