Job Responsibilities
- Provide general obstetric and gynecologic care, including the placement and removal of various contraceptive devices.
- Conduct preventive women's health exams and manage both low and high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform and interpret ultrasound results and various OB/GYN procedures, including deliveries and surgeries.
- Participate in Epic training sessions and maintain efficient patient flow with 18-24 patient encounters per shift.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Certification Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Hold a valid BLS certification.
- Proficient in office, minor, and surgical gynecological procedures.
- Strong experience in managing routine and complicated deliveries.
Working Hours
- Days: Monday–Friday, with some flexibility needed
- Epic training is scheduled every other week from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and must be completed post-credentialing.
Skills
- Highly skilled in interpreting FHR, OB ultrasounds, and performing various OB/GYN procedures.
- Competency in managing high-risk pregnancies and performing complicated deliveries.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Excellent decision-making capabilities for c-sections and complex birth scenarios.
