Job Responsibilities
- Perform renal dosing, IV to PO conversion, electrolyte management, vancomycin/aminoglycoside dosing, and TPN dosing.
- Conduct antimicrobial de-escalation and provide medication counseling upon request.
- Verify medications accurately and in a timely manner.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure effective workflow.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Pharmacist License
- Experience in sterile compounding
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with medical and nursing staff
- Familiarity with Dose Edge, Pharmacy Stars, VigiLanz, and Meditech Expanse documentation systems
Working Hours
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Night Shift: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM or 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Weekend and holiday hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
