Job Responsibilities

• Conduct 2 half clinic sessions per week and 2.5 days of endoscopy weekly.
• Oversee DOC clinic and fellows clinic, including supervision of fellows.
• Perform hospital rounding on inpatients with fellows on a 1:7 call rotation.
• Perform approximately 25 GI-related cases weekly.
• Provide high-quality care involving diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of digestive system diseases.

Qualifications

• Valid CT License (IMLC accepted).
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in relevant field, with expectation of certification in the near future.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Rotating call schedule of 1:7.

Skills

• Proficient in conducting colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to oversee fellows in various clinical settings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a support staff that includes RNs, MAs, and CRNAs.
• Excellent diagnostic and procedural skills in gastroenterology.
