Job Responsibilities
- Conduct 2 half clinic sessions per week and 2.5 days of endoscopy weekly.
- Oversee DOC clinic and fellows clinic, including supervision of fellows.
- Perform hospital rounding on inpatients with fellows on a 1:7 call rotation.
- Perform approximately 25 GI-related cases weekly.
- Provide high-quality care involving diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of digestive system diseases.
Qualifications
- Valid CT License (IMLC accepted).
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in relevant field, with expectation of certification in the near future.
- Experience with Epic EMR system.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Rotating call schedule of 1:7.
Skills
- Proficient in conducting colonoscopies and endoscopies.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to oversee fellows in various clinical settings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a support staff that includes RNs, MAs, and CRNAs.
- Excellent diagnostic and procedural skills in gastroenterology.
