Job Responsibilities
– Independently evaluate patients, document plans of care, and manage chemotherapy toxicities
– Conduct new patient evaluations in both benign and malignant hematology
– Collaborate with support staff, including RNs, MAs, and COAs
– Prescribe chemotherapy, leveraging ONS certification
Qualifications
– Active CT license
– Board Certified (BC)
– ONS chemotherapy certification
– BLS and ACLS certification
– DEA registration
– Experience in outpatient hematology preferred
– Proficient with Epic EMR
Working Hours
– Flexibility in scheduling with 4×10 hour days
Skills
– Expertise in managing adult medical patients in oncology
– Competency in chemotherapy prescribing and bone marrow biopsy
– Strong independent practice capabilities
