Job Responsibilities
- Provide initial assessment and ongoing medical care in endocrinology
- Conduct medical histories, patient examinations, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Formulate and adjust treatment plans and prescribe medications
- Document consultations, progress notes and manage specialty referrals
- Respond to emergency situations and educate patients on preventive care
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Valid State of Connecticut PA License
- Connecticut Controlled Substance license and DEA license
- NCCPA certification
- BLS Certification by the American Heart Association
- Preferred: One year of experience in endocrinology or endocrine neoplasia
