Job Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services.
- Take medical histories, examine patients, order and interpret tests.
- Formulate diagnoses and treatment plans, prescribe and monitor medications.
- Document consultation and progress notes, and manage specialist referrals.
- Educate patients and healthcare team members on disease processes and preventive care.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Connecticut Controlled Substance license and DEA license.
- BLS Certification by the American Heart Association.
- Preferred one year of experience in endocrinology.
