The role involves running on-site cardiology clinics, seeing new consults and follow-up patients, with tasks including interpreting cardiac diagnostics and advising on triage decisions within the prison clinic setting for 6+ months.

Job Responsibilities
– Conduct on-site cardiology clinics for new consults and follow-up patients
– Interpret cardiac diagnostics such as EKG, echo, stress testing, and Holter/event monitors
– Adjust medications and manage chronic cardiac disease
– Advise facility medical staff on triage decisions

Qualifications
– Board-certified non-invasive cardiologist
– Strong outpatient experience with skills in EKG, echo, stress testing, and Holter/event monitor interpretation
– Experience with underserved or complex patient populations preferred
– Comfort with the structure and security protocols of a correctional environment

Working Hours
– 2 Days Per Week
