Job Responsibilities
– Ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients in compliance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
– Develop and enforce policies that promote cost-effective and safe medication use.
– Supervise pharmacy personnel, manage staffing levels, and maintain adequate medication supplies and control records.
– Contribute to strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy and broader organization.
Qualifications
– Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy Degree; Pharm D required.
– Current Colorado Pharmacy license in good standing.
– Proven leadership experience in pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy services.
– Proficiency in EPIC required.
– Strong regulatory knowledge and clinical judgment.
– BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
– Flu vaccine required with no exemptions.
