Job Responsibilities
- Interpret and accurately transcribe medication orders to maintain patient medication profiles.
- Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including IV admixture preparations, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition.
- Comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations for controlled substances.
- Monitor drug therapy regimens for interactions, allergies, and appropriateness.
- Conduct pharmacokinetic drug dosing and review C&S data.
- Detect and report adverse drug reactions and provide clinical consultation.
- Document clinical activities and interventions accurately.
- Engage in quality improvement and medication review activities.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree.
- Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Colorado.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
- Flu Vaccine (required from Oct 1st through April 1st).
Working Hours
- Night Shifts, 7-on/7-off schedule.
