Job Responsibilities

• Assist with surgeries as a first surgical assist
• Conduct pelvic exams, pap smears, and simple biopsies
• Provide consults in the emergency department
• Participate in rounding and managing inpatient care
• Offer guidance on treatment decisions for GYN oncology

Qualifications

• Experience in Gynecology required
• Oncology experience and one year prior experience in surgery highly preferred
• Must hold an active CO license and have BLS (AHA) certification
• DEA certification required
• Local, drive-in candidates preferred

Working Hours

• Daytime schedule with one hour unpaid lunch per shift
• Night call required, involving pager duty and potential patient contact hours
• Must be available for specific days and schedules as detailed

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR following mandatory training
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
