Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive neurological surgery coverage during weekend call periods
  • Deliver surgical interventions for trauma and complex adult neurosurgery cases
  • Manage critical care and post-operative recovery for neurosurgical patients
  • Collaborate with a team of six neurosurgeons and utilize 12 operating rooms

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
  • Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain upon acceptance
  • Active ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and ATLS certifications required
  • Fellowship training highly preferred
  • Proficient in spinal instrumentation
  • COVID-19 vaccinated

Working Hours

  • Call duty starting Friday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM
  • Every weekend commitment required

  • Expertise in trauma and adult neurosurgery, including procedures like tumor removal, brain bleed stoppage, and spinal instrumentation
  • Proficient in advanced neurosurgical techniques and critical care management
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and make precise clinical decisions
