Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care in a Level 4 NICU setting
- Manage a patient assignment of 8-12 patients of mixed acuity
- Attend and manage high-risk neonatal deliveries
- Perform advanced procedures, including UAC/UVC and PICC placement, intubation, and chest tube insertion
Qualifications
- Active CO License (client willing to wait on CO license)
- NCC or NCCPA Board Certifications
- DEA, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- 2 years of NICU Level 4 experience
Working Hours
- Rotating shifts, including days and nights, with opportunities for 24-hour shifts available
Skills
- Expertise in neonatal intensive care environments
- Proficient in performing neonatal procedures such as ECMO, UAC/UVC, and PAL placement
- Ability to care for neonates requiring tracheostomy and surgical interventions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially in high-pressure situations
