Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Join a leading facility as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, catering to high-acuity neonates in a NICU setting. This role involves working with patients from 22 weeks gestational age to one year, including those with tracheostomies. You will have the opportunity to perform a range of procedures and support high-risk deliveries. The position offers flexible 12-hour shifts and 24-hour shifts, accommodating days and nights.

Job Responsibilities

  • Care for high-acuity neonates in the NICU
  • Manage a patient assignment of 8-12 neonates with mixed acuity
  • Attend and manage high-risk deliveries
  • Perform procedures such as UAC/UVC, PICC, PAL placement, intubation, and chest tube placement
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications

  • Active CO License (or willingness to obtain)
  • NCC or NCCPA Board Certifications
  • NRP, BLS, PALS certifications
  • DEA certification
  • Minimum 2 years NICU Level 4 experience
  • Surgical patient and ECMO experience preferred

Working Hours

  • Flexible 12-hour shifts with rotations for days and nights
  • 24-hour shifts available
