Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care in general and trauma-related neurosurgery
  • Manage cases involving tumor surgery, spinal surgery with and without instrumentation, and VP shunt placement
  • Perform required procedures including placement of ICP monitors and application of external traction
  • Participate in a trauma level 3 environment

Qualifications

  • Active CA medical license and DEA registration
  • FLURO certification (active or temporary)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
  • At least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in neurosurgery
  • Ability to manage complex cases and maintain current case logs

Working Hours

  • Call shifts run 24 hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM as needed

Skills

  • Proficiency in adult neurosurgery procedures, including trauma and tumor surgeries
  • Experience with spinal surgery in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions
  • Strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills in high-pressure environments
  • Effective communication with medical staff and patients
