Job Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures including OR assistance
- Perform radical and endoscopic vein harvesting
- Manage ICU/step-down patients
- Interpret EKGs, X-rays, laboratory results, ECMO, IABP & Impella
- Conduct patient rounds and manage clinic duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Active CA Physician Assistant license with CA DEA
- Must be able to perform vein harvesting and other specified surgical tasks
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Board Certification required
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM with call rotation
Skills
- Proficient in interpreting advanced cardiac monitoring
- Skilled in surgical assistance in high-acuity settings
- Strong organizational and communication capabilities
- Experience with handling critical care equipment and procedures
