Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct admissions, discharges, and rounding in inpatient rehab units
  • Manage patients approximately 13-15 per day with various rehabilitation needs
  • Collaborate with consult services such as neurology, orthopedics, pain, and internal medicine

Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Valid California medical license and DEA registration
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient PM&R
  • AHA Basic Life Support certification

Working Hours

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Night beeper call; weekend coverage as needed

  • Proficiency in general PM&R procedures, including joint injections and spasticity management
  • Ability to provide compassionate, comprehensive rehabilitation care
  • Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and patient management abilities
