Job Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Hematology and Oncology patient care, including diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment.
• Provide MD oversight for the oncology/hematology clinic and infusion services.
• Be onsite for chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood/platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology (Oncology or Hematology independently may be considered)
• Medical Oncology Fellowship required
• CA State License, DEA, BLS, and ACLS required
• Malpractice insurance highly preferred

Working Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Remote call coverage: Friday–Sunday

Skills

• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically iKnowmed and Cerner
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to handle a daily patient census of 15-21 shared with a Nurse Practitioner
• Evidence-based approach to patient care and treatment planning
