Job Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour cardiology call coverage
- Consult patients in the emergency department and inpatient settings
- Collaborate with hospitalists and specialists on cardiology cases
- Supervise stress tests (pharmacological and exercise)
- Interpret outpatient and inpatient echocardiography, holter, and event monitors
- Optional procedures include TEE, transvenous pacing, and tilt table interpretation
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Cardiology required
- California medical license required
- DEA certification required
- Clean malpractice background highly preferred
- Completion of a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine or ongoing certification process
- Hospital privileges in the last two of the last four years at a Joint Commission-accredited hospital
