Job Responsibilities
– Verify, fill, and distribute medication orders in compliance with hospital policies
– Monitor patient medication therapies for efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness
– Conduct daily reports and manage medication utilization
– Participate in pharmacy-related programs and ensure compliance with standards
Qualifications
– Graduate of a school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
– Pharmacist license in the state of practice required
– At least two years of recent experience in the field preferred
– Current BLS certification
Working Hours
– Rotating schedule with day shift, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
– Overnight on-call from 6:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Skills
– Strong knowledge of medication safety and efficacy
– Experience with Epic EMR system
– Excellent organizational and communication skills
– Ability to supervise and mentor support personnel
