Job Responsibilities
- Provide personalized and patient-centered care, including the dispensing and compounding of medications.
- Ensure accurate review of prescriptions from authorized prescribers.
- Direct pharmacy staff involved in medication preparation and distribution.
- Offer detailed drug information and guidance on interactions, side effects, and storage.
- Maintain quality assurance and manage controlled substances securely.
- Address and resolve third-party RX system issues promptly.
- Uphold high standards of confidentiality and loss prevention.
Qualifications
- Active pharmacy license in California.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited institution.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Compliance with federal, state, and local pharmaceutical regulations.
- Commitment to education and professional development to maintain competence.
Working Hours
- Standard work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
