Job Responsibilities
- Provide neonatal airway management, including intubation
- Manage neonatal air leak/pneumothorax, including needle decompression
- Perform emergent UVC and UAC placements
- Conduct lumbar punctures and interpret EKGs
Qualifications
- Active CA medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3–5 years of residency
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Working Hours
- 24-hour call only (not required to be in house)
Skills
- Proficiency in neonatal airway management and pediatric intubation
- Experience with UVC/UAC placement and EKG interpretation
- Preferred skills in ventilator management and chest tube insertion for neonates
