Job Responsibilities

  • Neonatal airway management including intubation
  • Emergency UVC placement in the delivery room
  • Conducting lumbar punctures and interpreting EKGs
  • Ventilator and central line management, preferred but not required

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
  • Active CA medical license
  • PALS certification is required
  • Minimum of two years of current hospital clinical activity in pediatrics

Working Hours

  • 24-hour call coverage is required with no mandatory in-house presence

Skills

  • Proficiency in neonatal intubation and pneumothorax management
  • Skill in EKG interpretation and lumbar punctures
  • Preferred skills include ventilation management and chest tube insertion
