Job Responsibilities
– Provide comprehensive inpatient care to pediatric patients, including neonatal airway management and UVC placement.
– Collaborate with emergency department staff for procedures such as intubations and chest tubes.
– Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs and lumbar punctures.

Qualifications
– Active CA license
– Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
– PALS certification required
– Experience in neonatal and pediatric procedure skills is strongly preferred

Working Hours
– 24-hour call shifts, covering various urgent dates from August through December. Dates include:
– August 15 – 19
– September 21 – 30
– October 17 – 20, October 26 – 28
– November 9 – 11
– December 21 – 28

Skills
– Required: Intubation, needle decompression, EKG interpretation, UVC placement
– Preferred: Ventilator management, chest tube insertion, arterial line placement, X-ray interpretation
