Job Responsibilities
– Be available on-call to handle both routine and emergency obstetric cases.
– Provide care for low and high-risk pregnancies, delivering babies via vaginal delivery or C-section as needed.
– Perform necessary obstetric procedures, including the management of breech births, multiple births, and other complicated delivery scenarios.
– Conduct routine office and minor gynecological procedures as required.
Qualifications
– Active California medical license required.
– Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
– Required certifications: BLS, NRP.
– Demonstrated experience in a hospital setting, with the ability to provide a CV showing at least two years of current activity in the specialty.
– Strong skills in miscarriage management and FHR interpretation.
Working Hours

Skills
– Proficiency in managing both low and high-risk pregnancies.
– Expertise in interpreting fetal heart rate monitors and conducting OB ultrasounds.
– Ability to perform routine and complicated deliveries, repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations, and handle various gynecological procedures.
– Strong decision-making skills, especially concerning C-sections and other surgical interventions.
– Excellent communication and response skills, ensuring a 30-minute response time if physically required at the facility.
