Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care
• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies, perform routine and complicated deliveries, and manage miscarriage cases
• Respond to call within 30 minutes
• Deliver vaginal, low forceps, and cesarean births
• Perform FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and minor office gynecology procedures
• Execute surgical gynecology including laparoscopic procedures

Qualifications

• Must hold a clean file for temporary privileges
• Active California medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics
• Certified in BLS and NRP
• Two years of recent hospital clinical activity required

Working Hours

• Be on-call 24 hours a day between 6:00 AM and 6:00 AM during the scheduled dates
• Varied additional demands based on hospital needs
