Job Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and complete charting by end of the day
- Conduct follow-ups on test/lab results with patients
- Manage a variety of neurological conditions including headaches, migraines, and epilepsy
- Administer treatments such as Botox and nerve blocks
Qualifications
- Active CA license and DEA
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
- Minimum 2-3 years of outpatient Neurology experience
- Experience with EMR, preferrably EPIC
Working Hours
- Minimum of 3 days a week, with potential for full-time coverage
- Guaranteed 8 hours per day
Skills
- Competence in general neurology and migraine management
- Proficiency with EEG, epilepsy management, and peripheral nerve blocks
- Ability to work independently and handle patient interactions via EMR
- Familiarity with managing patient panels and prior authorizations
