Join an esteemed healthcare facility as a Locum Tenens Urologist where your expertise will be crucial in providing patient care both in the outpatient clinic and through call coverage. This role encompasses a range of advanced urological procedures and allows for a dynamic schedule that includes weekday clinic days and periodic 24-hour call coverage on weekends. Dates of coverage include several weeks in 2026.

- Schedule: Monday–Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Friday (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM), nights and weekend call coverage (7-10 days per month)
- Patient Population: Adult, Pediatric Preferred
- Location: Eureka, CA
- Stipends: Lodging recommendations at $3,500 per month for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urological care to adult patients, with pediatric care preferred.
- Perform advanced urological procedures including laparoscopic surgeries, radical prostatectomy, radical cystectomy, and others.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in call coverage, handling any urgent urological consultations.
Qualifications
- Active California medical license required.
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
- At least two years of current hospital clinical activity in Urology.
- Strong proficiency in advanced endoscopic techniques and surgeries.
Working Hours
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Night and weekend call rotations required.
Skills
- Proficiency in advanced endoscopic techniques and laparoscopic surgeries.
- Experience in performing percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, and other advanced procedures.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with high patient encounter rate (16+ per shift).
