This locum tenens position offers the opportunity to work alongside specialized support staff in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a variety of shift options.

• Schedule: Day, Night, and Evening Shifts; coverage times include 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, 10:00 AM–10:00 PM, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM, 6:00 PM–4:00 AM, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM; 30 shifts per month
• Patient Population: All Ages
• Location: Hot Springs, AR
• Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and trauma services
• Perform procedures including reductions, cardioversions, moderate sedation, lacerations, chest tubes, intubations, central lines, and EKG interpretation
• Work collaboratively in a team-based setting to assist with complicated cases

Qualifications

• Active AR medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and DEA certifications
• Clean malpractice history

Working Hours

• Rotating shifts covering a 24/7 schedule
• Approximately 130 hours per month

Skills

• Proficient in emergency medical procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Competence with EMR systems, specifically EPIC/Dragon dictation
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
