Job Responsibilities
– Safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceuticals
– Collaboration with physicians on drug order and dosing
– Education of nursing staff and patients regarding medications
– Management of medication safety initiatives and adverse drug reaction reporting
– Preparation of IV admixtures and nutritional supplements
– Narcotic accountability and patient profile management

Qualifications
– 3+ years of hospital experience in high-acuity acute care settings
– Experience with NICU and cardiac cases including Impella/ECMO
– Strong knowledge of state/federal and DEA laws, TJC Standards

Working Hours
– Rotating shifts: 7 shifts on, 7 shifts off
– Evenings/Nights: 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM
