With a rotating schedule of 7 shifts on and 7 shifts off during night shifts, this position offers a balance of work and flexibility.

Job Responsibilities
– Ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents.
– Collaborate with Physicians on medications and dosing.
– Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding drug safety and administration.
– Participate in Medication Safety initiatives and manage patient profiles.
– Avoid and report adverse drug reactions, mix IV admixtures, and ensure narcotic accountability.

Qualifications
– Requires 3+ years of hospital experience in a high acuity acute care hospital.
– Experience with NICU and cardiac cases (such as Impella/ECMO) is essential.

Working Hours
– Rotating shifts: 7 on / 7 off
– Night hours: 20:00 – 07:00

Skills
– Strong understanding of state/federal and DEA laws, TJC standards, and hospital policies.
– Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
– Proficiency in IV admixture preparation and narcotic accountability.
– Ability to educate effectively and handle high-pressure situations.
