Job Responsibilities
- Manage and treat patients in the critical care unit, attending to 4-16 patient encounters per shift.
- Utilize specialized skills such as ventilation management, central and arterial line insertion, and bronchoscopy with bronchial alveolar lavage.
- Oversee the evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues.
- Perform necessary procedures, including chest tube insertion, diagnostic/therapeutic taps, and dialysis catheter placement.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine, with preference for candidates with an AZ license or IMLC eligibility.
- Certifications required: ABLS, ACLS, BLS.
- Previous fellowship experience is required.
Working Hours
- Night shifts from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM.
Skills
- Competency in ventilation management, invasive and non-invasive procedures, and management of acute care needs.
- Proficiency in performing procedures such as bronchoscopy, central line insertion, arterial line insertion, and dialysis catheter placement.
