Job Responsibilities
- Maintain adequate drug supply, ensuring timely procurement and inventory control.
- Prepare, sterilize, and label parenteral medications.
- Dispense medications according to protocol and ensure accountability.
- Conduct monthly inspections of medication storage and usage areas.
- Monitor patient drug therapy, focusing on drug interactions and effectiveness.
- Participate in developing and updating hospital formularies.
- Instruct patients on medication use post-discharge.
- Support education and training programs for pharmacy staff.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of educational requirements for state licensure.
- Current State licensure.
- EPIC experience required.
- BLS required if mandated by the state.
Working Hours
- Four 10-hour shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
Skills
